"My boyfriend drove me [to another town] to have the procedure done. When I went into the clinic, I remember thinking how very cold, dark and dank it was. That was also how I felt, a cold person for having this procedure done. I was scared and alone. We walked into the office and the nurse called me back to the room. They did not explain the procedure me and only told me that the situation—and I—would be all right after it was over.
