WASHINGTON (AP) — From the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, conservative broadcaster Glenn Beck told a crowd of tens of thousands of people Saturday that the U.S. has too long "wandered in darkness."

Sarah Palin told the stories of and introduced several Medal of Honor winners including Colonel Thomas Kirk, a Vietnam Veteran who endured years of imprisonment at the Hanoi Hilton along with John McCain and many others. One critic posted on Facebook, that she had said nothing. Will Today's Restoring Honor Rally Be as Big as 9/12/2009?

Dear Readers,
I posted this footage of Glen Beck's 9/12/09 rally for comparison. Early reports from the Mall indicate the "Restoring Honor Rally" will be huge. David Madiera, talk show host from 94.3 radio in Scranton had his wife call in from the Restoring Honor Rally. Mrs. Madiera said there was "a sea of people" headed toward the Mall. Sue Cirba
