In late February a story broke about a New Jersey abortion clinic closed after an inspection by the New Jersey Department of Health. Beth Israel Hospital treated a woman for complications of an abortion performed at Metropolitan Medical. The twenty year old mother of two, had severe blood loss which necessitated a hysterectomy. She also had a stroke, a collapsed lung and was left in a coma for four weeks follwoing her abortion..
