President Bush this evening announced his nominee for the Supreme Court and introduced judge John G. Roberts Jr. to a waiting nation. The Drudge Report this evening posted three articles on Judge Roberts, including his remarks after his nomination. (see www.drudgereport.com)
Judge Roberts was listed on the National Abortion Rights Action League's list of potential noninees to the Supreme Court, as "hostile" to "women's reproductive rights", that is, the right to kill their own unborn children by abortion. Of course no such right can or ever has existed morally speaking. Pro-life Americans are asked to look to pro-life sources for information as the mainstream liberal press is likely be hostile to this nominee and twist the truth if necessary in order to kill his chances of being approved by the Senate. In a brief filed before the Supreme Court in 1991, in Rust V. Sullivan, Roberts asked the U. S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
