Nevada News Bureau » Blog Archive » Gov. Sandoval Praises Appeals Court Ruling on Federal Health Care Package
"CARSON CITY — Gov. Brian Sandoval today praised a federal appeals court ruling that struck down the so-called “individual mandate” in federal health care legislation.
“The ruling by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals confirms what we have known all along: the federal health care law’s individual mandate was over-reaching and unconstitutional,” said Sandoval in a statement. “Nevada continues to be well-represented in this case and I expect there will be ultimate victory before the United States Supreme Court.”" Visit:Nevada News Bureau » Blog Archive » Gov. Kansas still at work on health exchange despite ruling | Statehousenewsonline.com
"TOPEKA — A federal appeals court ruling in Georgia that overturned a portion of the nation’s latest health insurance law Friday did little to end confusion over how to follow that law in Kansas.
A three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which requires all Americans to carry health insurance or face penalties, is unconstitutional. The Court ruled that Congress exceeded its constitutional powers by requiring people to buy health insurance when they choose not to do so." Apparitions of Mary - MAIL BAG LETTERS FROM READERS | The Times Leader, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton PA - Letters to the Editor
"Our Lady of Guadalupe miracle story retold
Nightline” has been airing special one-hour, primetime programs. On July 14, the focus was on the apparitions of Mary, mother of Jesus."Our Lady of Guadalupe miracle story retold
Among the apparitions examined was one that occurred in Wisconsin about 150 years ago that only recently has gained the official approval of the Catholic Church – the first in the United States.
Another apparition briefly included in the program was that of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. Unfortunately, the time allotted for this famous and enormously important apparition was minimal. In his letter to the editor Dr. Charles De Celles from Marywood University adds more details.

How The Swiss Do Health Care - Page 1 - Bill Steigerwald - Townhall Conservative
I found an interesting article on health care from a few years back.
"You never hear it touted by the media but Switzerland uses market forces, not government rules and red tape, to create a private, affordable, high-quality health-care system for its 7.5 million citizens. And it spends 40 percent less per capita than we do." Visit:How The Swiss Do Health Care - Page 1 - Bill Steigerwald - Townhall Conservative:

Fiscal Conservatives Barred from Supercommittee (Updated) | The Weekly Standard
"The debt ceiling deal will pass the Senate early this afternoon. No suspense there. But the vote will be worth watching for another reason: Three Republican Senate sources tell TWS that senators who vote against the deal will be ineligible to serve on the so-called “supercommittee” for deficit reduction that the legislation creates."
