Ben Stein Vs. Sputtering Atheists - Yahoo! News

Brent Bozell Writes: "It is a reality of PC liberalism: There is only one credible side to an issue, and any dissent is not only rejected, it is scorned. Global warming. Gay 'rights.' Abortion 'rights.' On these and so many other issues there is enlightenment, and then there is the Idiotic Other Side" Bozell comments on his screening of Ben Stein's movie Expelled! concerning the debate over the origins of man. Those of us who understand media bias first hand on the pro-life issue might want to read Bozell's article and see Stein's movie. Visit:Ben Stein Vs. Sputtering Atheists - Yahoo! News:

Pennsylvania's Senator Bob Casey Defends Barak O'Bama on Meet the Press

Did anyone catch this exchange on Meet the Press on Sunday, April 6th?
Tim Russert had a discussion with Bob Casey Jr. about his support for Barak Obama.
Russert showed an exerpt of a speech Obama made in Johnstown, PA about kids and sex education.
(Videotape)
Obama: “ ...teaching children, you know, that sex is not something casual, but it should also include, it should also include other, you know, information about contraception because, look, I've got two daughters, nine-year-old, now nine years old and six years old. I'm going to teach them, first of all, about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby.” Meet the Press videotape ends here but Obama went on to say, I don't want them to be punished with an STD at 16. It doesn't make sense."
“"Punished with a baby." Is that an appropriate word?” Russert asked.
Bob Casey Jr. answered, “look, you can talk about better word choice, but...he's being very honest. He's honest about the idea that if a, if a teenage girl has a baby, that is a terrible burden and it's difficult.”
Russert stated, “But … it's not a punishment.”
Casey: “ No, I think he's talking about the burden….. If you listen to that whole answer, it showed again why he's a leader.” Casey went on talking about Obama’s leadership for another five sentences.
Russert continued, “But he should not have used the word "punished."”
Casey: I think if he had answered that question again, he would--he'd, he'd use different words. But I think the point he was trying to make was a very important point, that we've got to remember that if a teenage girl has a baby, it's usually, in most instances, a difficult burden. (end)

Yet “punishment” seems to be the word Obama intended since he used it twice in the same thought, once to refer to an unwanted baby and the second time to refer to sexually transmitted diseases. Does Obama think of unwanted pregnancy as a disease? Was this merely a poor choice of words? Isn’t the real issue Obama’s attitude toward abortion?

Conservative commentator Laura Echevarria, formerly media relations director for National Right to Life committee, reacted to Obama’s comment in her blog http://lauraechevarria.blogspot.com
“Suddenly an innocent human baby is "punishment" …… I realize that a parent would rather not have his or her child become a single mother….. but I would never consider the baby a punishment should such a thing happen. The child would be my grandchild…..the attitude that the child is a punishment certainly fits with the pro-abortion rhetoric of both Democratic campaigns and their pro-abortion supporters”

Obama does not offer his rabid pro-abortion views while on the campaign trail, but had no problem mentioning them when he stood before the Planned Parenthood Action Fund gathering on July 17, 2007. Obama embraced abortion on demand, “there’s a lot at stake in this election, especially for our daughters. ….. review the recent decisions handed down by the Supreme Court….Gonzales versus Carhart, (the Supreme Court decision which upheol the ban on partial-birth abortion)... Some people argue that the federal ban on abortion was just an isolated effort aimed at one medical procedure" not “a concerted effort to roll back the hard-won rights of American women” Obama continued, “That presumption is wrong..... With one more vacancy on the Court, we could be looking at a majority hostile to a woman’s fundamental right to choose for the first time since Roe versus Wade and that is what is at stake in this election.”

Obama shares Planned Parenthood’s view of abortion as woman’s “fundamental right”. A Planned Parenthood audience member questioned Obama on what he would do to “ensure access to abortion” and make sure “judicial nominees …are true to the core tenets of Roe v. Wade?”
Obama answered, “the first thing I’d do as president is… sign the Freedom of Choice Act.” “ .. but your question about the federal courts is absolutely on target…. I opposed Alito, you know, as well as Justice Roberts.” (Alito and Roberts support limits on abortion and an interpretation of the Constitution based on the original intent of the Founding Fathers.) Obama praised Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s vision of what America should be. Ginsburg opposed the ban on partial birth abortion. In partial birth abortion, an unborn child is partially delivered, stabbed in the back of the neck with scissors so a tube can be inserted to suction out the child’s brain, then a dead baby is delivered.
Senator Casey needs to take a closer look at Obama’s support for abortion

"It's Your Choice"- A Cartoon by John Francis Borra

This cartoon highlights an often overlooked fact about the so-called right to choose: more often than not, vulnerable young women are coerced into abortion. Coercion, under the guise of compassion, is the primary strategy employed to sell us on killing children, as well as the infirm and elderly. Parents, friends, school counselors, self-styled religious leaders and others often pressure young mothers, with little or no regard for the lives at stake or the common good. To be certain, many of those counseling abortion are themselves victims, their priorities, their understanding of life and of good and evil having been twisted by the false prophets of narcissism and nihilism. Which is why we must endeavor, like St. Francis, to be instruments of peace: "Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is darkness, light; where there is despair, hope."

Barack Obama before Planned Parenthood Action Fund, July 17, 2007

Barak Obama stated before the Planned Parenthood Action Fund in July 2007 - "I have worked on these issues for decades now. I put Roe at the center of my lesson plan on reproductive freedom when I taught Constitutional Law. Not simply as a case about privacy but as part of the broader struggle for women’s equality. Steve and Pam will tell you that we fought together in the Illinois State Senate against restrictive choice (Editor: pro-life) legislation—laws just like the federal abortion laws, the federal abortion bans that are cropping up. I’ve stood up for the freedom of choice in the United States Senate and I stand by my votes against the confirmation of Judge Roberts and Samuel Alito [Applause]" To read a transcript of Obama's 25 minute speech visit:LauraEtch - Barack Obama before Planned Parenthood Action Fund, July 17, 2007:

Pro-life outrage as hundreds of children survive after being born within the legal abortion time | the Daily Mail

In Great Britain the Department of Health released figures showing that 909 babies were born between 22 and 24 weeks gestation in 2005, and of these 250 lived at least one year.

"Pro-life campaigners will use the figures to add weight to their argument that the abortion time limit should be cut when MPs vote on the issue in a few weeks. The current time limit of 24 weeks was decided by Parliament in 1990 and the upcoming Human and Fertilisation and Embryology Bill will be the first time MPs will have been given a vote on the issue since then." They will be allowed to vote their conscience. Visit: Pro-life outrage as hundreds of children survive after being born within the legal abortion time | the Daily Mail:

Doctor Says about "Brain Dead" Man Saved from Organ Harvesting - "Brain Death is Never Really Death"

"OKLAHOMA, March 27, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - 21-year-old Zack Dunlap, a man who was diagnosed as 'brain dead' and who was mere minutes away from having his organs harvested, now says, four months after the accident that brought him to the brink of death, that he feels 'pretty good.' Dunlap's story was told in an NBC piece aired earlier this week, in which the young man himself was interviewed.
While Zack's case is being touted in the media as a 'miracle', a neonatologist and expert on brain-death has told LifeSiteNews.com that Zack's case, while remarkable in a sense, is not as rare as the mainstream media's reporting makes it seem." Visit:

National Planned Parenthood sought closures of clinics in South Florida -- Health, Broward County -- South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

According to Alex Arreaza, board chairman of Planned Parenthood, local affiliates of Planned Parenthood of South Palm Beach and Broward Counties were inspected by national Planned Parenthood officials recently. They found deficiencies in clinic conditions, finances, medical operations, policies and proceedures which resulted in the temporary shut down of five offices. According to Sun-Sentinel.com, "Some board members had been complaining about the conditions to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America in Washington, D.C., and New York for at least 18 months, said former board members Barbara Herring, Estelle Loewenstein and Jane Braus, who resigned in late 2006". Hillary Clinton, Ed Rendell, and Umbert the Unborn Marched in Scranton's St. Patrick's Day Parade

You didn't expect Umbert the Unborn to be in the same photo with two of the nation's most pro-abortion politicians did you?

A Prayer Before Planned Parenthood

My friend John Borra composed this prayer for all who are praying in front of Planned
Parenthood on Good Friday to use. Thanks John.

A Prayer Before Planned Parenthood

Almighty God,

We pause here to remember the uncounted victims of a misguided society: women, confused and frightened, who were led to believe problems would be solved by terminating their pregnancies; unborn children who died as a result; couples whose wonderful potential to foster new life has been stifled.

Enlighten those who pervert the healing arts by turning against life, that they might see the destruction they have wrought. Dispel the nihilism that reduces unborn children to mere abstractions. Lead our citizens, courts and governments to understand that everyone has a right to live, regardless of age, ability, health or social circumstance.

Bless our youngsters, that they might appreciate their bodies, value chastity and understand the true purpose of sexuality.

Allay the fears of new parents. Encourage them, that they might treasure the lives they've brought into the world, trust in your providence and embrace the call to parenthood. May they understand that children are unrepeatable gifts, no matter the circumstances of their conception.

Grant that society will once again respect marriage as the insoluble union which brings forth the family and recognize the family as the very foundation upon which society itself rests. Dispel the selfishness that regards fertility as a malady and pregnancy as a disease, that couples might cherish procreation as a blessing and bring ever more life into the world.

Console those parents who once chose abortion and now regret their decision; may their grief turn to action and their suffering to resolve in testament to the Truth.

Strengthen with love all who seek You, that we might embrace our calling to be light amid the darkness and, so, transform America, that she finally might become a nation under You, oh Lord, with liberty and justice for all.

Saint Gianna, who gave up her life that her unborn daughter might live, pray for us!
Saint Maximilian, martyr of an earlier holocaust, pray for us!
Amen.

Obama and Clinton Join Senate Against Helping Pregnant Women, McCain Disagrees

"Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Pro-abortion Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton joined a majority of the Senate Thursday night in rejecting an amendment that would offer financial support to poor pregnant women and their unborn children. Their votes contrasted with likely GOP presidential nominee John McCain.
The two candidates voted against a measure by Sen. Wayne Allard of Colorado that would have included pregnant women and their unborn children in the SCHIP program"

Where Does Obama Stand on Infanticde? Read Santorum's The Elephant in the Room: Obama: A harsh ideologue - Philadelphia Inquirer | 02/28/2008

Should infants born alive after abortion be saved? Obama votes No!
From Senator Santorum's column:
"Who would oppose a bill that said you couldn't kill a baby who was born? Not Kennedy, Boxer or Hillary Rodham Clinton. Not even the hard-core National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL). Obama, however, is another story. The year after the Born Alive Infants Protection Act became federal law in 2002, identical language was considered in a committee of the Illinois Senate. It was defeated with the committee's chairman, Obama, leading the opposition." Visit:

An eight-year-old boy went with his older sister to pray with a 40 days for life group Bakersfield, California and wound up saving a baby's life. A pregnant woman had been talking with sidewalk counselors for an hour. "Little Hugo stood nearby listening as Denisha explained her reasons for scheduling the abortion. She has two young children who were taken away by Child Protective Services. She expects to get her children back at an upcoming court date, but being pregnant again could complicate the situation. She was also afraid to tell her parents that she is pregnant." The boy listened and then spoke, to read more visit: 40 Days for Life:

The Clinton Legacy - RU-486 -An Open Letter From the Parents of Holly Patterson - Death by RU-486

During the Clinton Adminsitration, the French Abortion Pill RU-486 was rushed through trials so that it could quickly be approved by the FDA. There have been twelve deaths associated with RU-486, one of them Holly Patterson. The following is a letter written by her parents.
An Open Letter From the Parents of Holly Patterson - Death by RU-486: "As parents, we cannot allow our beautiful Holly's horrible death to be in vain. RU-486 has caused serious injury and has been implicated in the deaths of other young women. Now it has killed our daughter. We have learned that the initial trials were rushed and the drug was lumped in and approved with drugs designed for life threatening illnesses such as cancer and AIDS. Pregnancy is a natural process that a woman's body is designed to support and has never been classified as a life threatening illness. We need help to develop a website and provide a place for teenagers and women to report their stories and testimonials of their experience on the serious and adverse affects using RU-486." Visit:

Here is where socialized medicine gets you! A young British woman age 28, slipped into unconsciousness from severe blood poisoning moments after being told her baby had died. Her husband kept a round the clock vigil at her bedside for two weeks and then was told by doctors they they would remove her from life support. Two Weeks! Did you hear that? Doctors under England's system of socialized medicine gave this woman just two weeks to recoer before writing her off! Here is the story from the Telegraph:

Human Life International -- Condom Exposé

If you look at any state's abortion statistics, you will probably find that three quarters of abortions are to unmarried women. Since the 1970's the Government has poured billions of dollars into promoting contraception through organizations like Planned Parenthood. With so much money being spent to supposedly prevent teen pregnancy, why then do abortion numbers to unmarried teens and women soar? Human Life International's Condom Expose helps one understand the underlyilng problem.

"The Underlying Problem. It is common knowledge among health professionals that sexually‑transmitted diseases (STDs), some of which are incurable and/or fatal, have found fertile ground to multiply in societies that permit and even celebrate all forms of permissive sex. Unfortunately, most people, for fear of appearing “backwards” or “repressive,” treat this glaringly obvious fact like a basilisk -- they dare not look at it or even speak about it." Human Life International's Condom Expose follows and contains shocking information about the conditions under which condoms are stored which make their supposed "effectiveness" at preventing sexually transmitted diseases, much lower than claimed. The Condom Expose continues:
