Erie, PA – A business condo association has foreclosed on the Erie offices owned by the notorious abortionist Steven Chase Brigham located at 1611 Peach Street. Movers were photographed removing the contents of Brigham’s three suites on Saturday, December 10.
That office had the dubious distinction of having been the first “legal” abortion clinic in Erie. It has been generally unused since the last Brigham-hired abortionist quit in February, 2007, after pro-life activists drew public attention to his employment at the abortion clinic. After news that abortionist Kermit Gosnell was being charged with eight counts of murder, the public also learned that Gosnell's clinic had not been inspected since 1993. The Department of Health pledged to inspect all of the state's 24 abortion clinics. The Philadelphia City Paper requested the records of those inspections. "Fifteen clinics were issued 'notices of deficiencies,' mostly regarding relatively minor infractions." the City Paper reported. In its ruling, the Board stated, “Dr. Brigham has consistently and repetitively engaged in manipulative and deceptive behavior designed to circumvent the requirements of the board’s termination of pregnancy regulation and to eviscerate the protections that those regulations seek to afford to New Jersey patients.” The press release continues:
