These days it seems everywhere we look we can find articles hailing and praising the 50 Year Anniversary of “The Pill”. Recently in the Washington Post, Elaine Tyler May makes the claim that “The Pill” has been making motherhood better for 50 years. This is as misleading and absurd as claiming that working in the coal mines contributes to healthy lungs. It is true that “The Pill” certainly changed Motherhood.
