CBS Featured No Pro-Lifers in Photo Essay About Pro-Life Rally | Publius Forum

"If you want a case of clear bias, the Washington D.C. affiliate of CBS will surely fill the bill for its bias against pro-life supporters. On January 23 the DC affiliate featured on its website a photo slide show of pictures taken at the March for Life rally held annually at the nation's capitol. Curiously, though, there wasn't a single photo of any pro-lifers. Instead the photo essay featured only photos of abortion-supporting protestors that stood on the sidelines taunting the pro-life marchers." Terrific Santorum Ad

From Planned Parenthood to the Church | News | NCRegister.com

"The room in the back of the clinic was quiet, but Catherine’s mind was screaming: There was a baby in a jar. Arms. Legs. Fingers! There was a baby in a jar! She knew she had to get out of there. Fast. She couldn’t look at it one moment longer.

It?

Catherine Adair had spent the previous year working at Planned Parenthood convincing women that, despite what they thought, that wasn’t a baby growing in their womb. It was a … an … it. And it required a “procedure,” as she called it back then. Visit: From Planned Parenthood to the Church | News | NCRegister.com:

Tim Tebow: The Walking Pro-Life Billboard The Left Hates | LifeNews.com

Nice article on Tim Tebow from Life News:
"Will Tebow end up an NFL great like John Elway? That remains to be seen. Opinions are all over the place. But what is certain is that Tim Tebow is more than just a sports phenomenon. He’s a cultural phenomenon.

For starters, Tebow’s very existence is somehow controversial. He’s a walking pro-life testimonial. He’s been pulling off comebacks since before he was born." Visit:Tim Tebow: The Walking Pro-Life Billboard The Left Hates | LifeNews.com:

Right to Life of Michigan's Blog: Michigan cord blood bank celebrates 100th transfer of cord blood

"Michigan cord blood bank celebrates 100th transfer of cord blood
For more than a decade the Michigan Blood Cord Blood Bank has been collecting blood from umbilical cords and sending that blood which is rich in life-affirming stem cells to patients in need.
The blood cord bank recently marked the delivery of its 100th potentially lifesaving unit of stem cells from donated umbilical cord blood to a transplant center in the northeastern United States, where it will be transfused into a 14-year-old boy who is battling leukemia.

Such milestones are a proud time for the Michigan Blood Cord Blood Bank, but it's only a slice of what it has accomplished since its founding in 1999, said its medical director, Dr. LeeAnn Weitekamp.

Michigan Blood's Cord Blood Bank is the first public cord blood bank in Michigan, with a 12-year history of collecting, processing, banking and distributing donated cord blood for transplantation to patients with certain blood-related diseases, such as lymphoma and sickle cell anemia. Santorum still ahead

CNN reports at 11:30pm Rick Santorum has 24.7% or 28,049 votes to Romney's 24.6 percent or 27,977 votes and Ron Paul's 21.2% or 24,144 votes. Newt Gingrich had some nice things to say about Santorum when speaking to his supporters. Gingrich received 15,097 votes.

Rick Santorum and the Iowa Caucuses

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. I took a much needed break from blogging but am getting excited by Rick Santorum's recent polling and now the voting in Iowa.

With 31% reporting, Romney, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul were practically tied. Momenta ago CNN reported Santorum ahead by 100 votes with 50 percent of precincts reporting.

CNN coverage is somewhat nauseating as they throw in video of Obama and Dem party hacks even though there is no contest on the Democrat side. The real story is the Republican race.

When Rick Santorum was in Old Forge in August Santorum stated "I focused all my time and attention on Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. We have a campaign that is legitimate, a campaign that can be successful With the events in Iowa I feel very strongly we are in this campaign not just because we have a good message, but because we can win this campaign." Tonight's results seem to bear that out.

More important than how Santorum thinks his campaign is going is the message he delivered in Old Forge in August - a message that went largely unreported. Santorum said this is the most important election since the election of Abraham Lincoln, the reason being we are voting to determine what type of country we will be.

Santorum said, "The Constitution is the how of our country - the Declaration of Independence is the why of our country. It is our soul." The Declaration of Independence states:
"We are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights" This historic document recognized that rights came NOT from the King but from God". Santorum continued, "At the heart of America is a country founded on God - we recognized in the Declaration of Independence that rights are from God." That message I'm sure appealed to many voters from Iowa.

With fifty percent of precincts reporting Rick Santorum leads by 100 votes and with 60% reporting Santorum has 25%, Romney has 23% and Paul 21%.
